 More than 50 family members and friends gathered to ice skate and play hockey in memory of Michael Steingart at Twin Rinks in Enfield, CT on Dec. 23, 2007. Michael, who lived with TS, played hockey throughout his life and truly loved the game. Funds raised were donated to TSA. Pictured above are members of the Steingart family and Jill Varley, Michael’s girlfriend and members of her family.  Loli Gonzales-Hill joined TEAM TSA on her own and has participated in various evens she has chosen in her area. Above, Loli participates in the "2007 Kepp Austin Weird 5k". Her goal is to raise $5,000!  Ryan at the age of 9 completed the 10K of the Marine Corps. Marathon on Oct. 28, 07. Ryan, who ran with his Uncle Glenn as a part of TEAM TSA, is a runner and has participated in several races.  Bob enjoys kayaking adventures. This year he decided to make his journey more meaningful by kayaking for TEAM TSA! Click here for more information.  John and Laura Kopicky participated in the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon in Ohio on May 6, 2007. John injured his foot before the race, but he and his mom, Laura, felt strongly about him participating in the event. They rented a wheel chair and completed the race!  KNOCKING DOWN TS Ty Redmond (front center) got together his friends, family members and co-workers and hosted a TEAM TSA bowl-a-thon Saturday Oct. 7, 2006 at Chelsea Piers in New York City. Ty created a web page on our individual site and raised more than $2,000!!  Members of TEAM TSA participated in various events at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida on Jan. 5-7, 2007. More than 60 people signed up to be a part of the team and raised almost $65,000. To view additional photos click here.  Members of TEAM TSA participated in the Mayor's Midnight Sun Marathon in Anchorage, Alaska on June 23, 2007. This was a very special event because it was dedicated to the memory of Zachary Hollis. For more pictures and information click here.  TEAM TSA members participated in the Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon on Saturday April 28, 2007 in Louisville, Kentucky and raised more than $11,500! Welcome to TEAM TSA! Our members participate in athletic events to benefit more than their own health. With every step they help the national Tourette Syndrome Association get ONE LAP CLOSER TO A CURE. Join TEAM TSA today! With your support, TSA can continue to fund research to discover a cause and find a cure for TS, while providing education programs, awareness activities and other services for people living with TS and their families.  It was a beautiful day for members of the TEAM TSA Bike Team as they cycled 42 miles through the five boroughs of New York City in the New York Bike Tour on May 4, 2008. Team members raised more than $13,400!  Running for TEAM TSA, Jill and Trent crossed the finish line of the 2008 Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic on Feb. 9, 2008 in Tampa, Florida. Jill ran the 15K for her son. Trent jumped in and ran the last two miles beside her and they crossed the finish line together. Trent's Team raised $10,300!  More than 30 people joined Walt Disney World's TEAM TSA and participatged in various events from January 10-13, 2008. Above members participate in the 5K Family Fun Run. Below members participate in the full marathon.   Young members of TEAM TSA bonded together after participating in the Disney Fun Run and had fun hanging out at the fireworks display on January 11, 2008.  Three of the 20 member TEAM TSA ING New York City team gathered together for a picture before the marathon started on Nov. 4, 2007. TEAM TSA has applied to be an official charity for the marathon again in 2008!!  The cancellation of the Indy Classic Marathon did not stop TEAM TSA Indiana from getting together for a walk at the Whiteriver Park in downtown Indianapolis on Nov. 3, 2007. The team raised $15,130! TEAM TSA is excited to announce that in 2008 it will be a part of the Indianapolis Marathon, which celebrated its 12th year! To see more pictures of this year's event click here.  Members of TEAM TSA participated in the Marine Corps. Marathon. Above members of the TEAM TSA Kid's Fun Run assembled before the race on Saturday Oct. 27, 2007. By: Ed Pfueller/Sarasota Herald-Tribune Steve Butler was recently awarded the Ford Everyday Hero for the 2007 Ford Ironman Florida. He will receive an award and a $1,000 donation to TSA. Steve dedicated his 2007 racing season to TEAM TSA and is not too far from his goal of raising $10,000! Above, Steve ran in a shark costume in the Sarasota Half Marathon on March 4, 2007. He hosted an event Friends & Family For Tourette Syndrome in Sarasota Florida on July 21, 2007. Click here for more information.  It was a beautiful day by the beach as more than 50 members of TEAM TSA came out to participate in the Long Beach Marathon on Oct. 14, 2007. The event offered a Kid's Race, 5K Walk, Half Marathon, Full Marathon and Bike Tours.  Standing on the steps that were made famous by the Rocky movies, TEAM TSA members gathered together before participating in the Philadelphia Distance Classic on Sept. 16, 2007.
