Bayside, New York, November 6, 2009 TSA's Spanish language 'Mini Site' debuts today. Resources include a video for medical professionals, general information on Tourette Syndrome, articles on Adult issues, and 3 issues of TSA's Children's Newsletter, "That Darn Tic". A particular highlight of the project is the dubbing of the "Newly Diagnosed" video presentation by Dr. John Walkup. TSA's partnership with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities, offering education and outreach programs to promote medical awareness of TS as well as training for educational and allied professionals. The Mini Site has been produced in furtherance of the partnership's outreach mission. A new button is now present on TSA's top menu bar, "en español", linking to the mini site's welcome (bienvenidos) page. Click here to visit the welcome page. |
