The Dupage County Support Group meets from 7-9 p.m. the third or fourth Friday of each month at the Holy Transfiguration Church in Warrenville, Illinois. The Tourette Connection (Libertyville) Support Group meets from 7-8:30 pm on the second Tuesday of each month at the Libertyville Covenant Church in Libertyville. starting January 24, 2007 the new Portland support group we will begin holding its monthly parent support group meetings at Maine Medical Center in Portland. The meetings will be held from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, on the fourth Wednesday of each month, at MMC's Dana Center. For more information please contact the chapter at 877-368-9800.
Also beginning on January 24, TSA Maine/New Hampshire will be holding monthly chapter business meetings in Portland. The meetings will be held just prior to the parent support group meetings - from 6:00 to 7:00 pm - in the same location. For more information contact the chapter at 877-368-9800.
Starting July 12 the Buffalo area support groups will begin again. There will be two groups meeting simultaneously, one for children with TS and one for adults/parents. The children’s group will be coordinated by Tricia Gates, certified elementary teacher and Dr. Diegelman, director of the TS Counseling Program. The groups will meet the second Thursday of each month at the Independent Youth and Family Center, 5005 Sheridan Drive in Williamsville. Monmouth/Ocean County Tourette Syndrome family support group meets 7-8:30 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of each month (except July and August) at the Wellness Center of Jersey Shore University Medical Center, second floor classroom, 2020 Route 33. Visit www.tsanj.org or call (908) 575-7350.
Family support group for Morris/ Sussex Counties. Meetings will be held at St. Clare’s Hospital Denville. For more information, please contact the chapter at 732- 972-4459.
The Pike, Wayne, Lackawanna and Monroe Counties Support Group will meet the Third Friday of each month from 5:30 – 7:30 from September through May at the Newfoundland Moravian Church Routes191/507 Newfoundland, PA. The Mainline Support Group of Delaware, Chester, South West Montgomery Counties will be meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month until May. Meetings will be held at The New Season’s Assisted Living, 455 N Valley Forge Road, Devon, PA from 7:30 – 9:30pm. Westmoreland County Support Group will be meeting the second Monday of every month from September thru December and then January thru May. The meetings are held at the Family Behavioral Resource Services, 8692 Hill Drive, Suite 4 North Huntingdon PS at 7:30pm. Anyone interested in TS is welcome! Parents, family members, Mental Health professionals, children or adults with the disorder. Please share your experiences with us. All are welcome!
